Catch him (keep him) if you can!
When looking for true love, nonchalance is the key to bagging your dream man, according to a dating expert.
Men are turned off by a woman whose sole aim is to entrap him and so girls should spend time trying to better themselves rather than focusing solely on what makes their potential beau happy.
"Rather than investing time trying to find ways to catch a man, it's more worthwhile to work on yourself, creating the most complete, desirable person you can be in all aspects: physically, emotionally, socially, intellectually and spiritually," said psychologist Omphile Sebitloane to website Women24.
She says that it's the "well-balanced person" who will ultimately win at finding her dream mate.
Ms Sebitloane says that when they succeed in finding a relationship, those who had tried to catch their man "come hell or high water" are in danger of being in for a rocky relationship.
The woman in the relationship will constantly have to reinvent herself in order to keep him happy and that's not exactly romantic bliss.
The psychologist provides some helpful tips on dating a man and keeping him, including making sure you are interesting inside and not just pretty on the outside.
She advises that you should work on the relationship and make sure it's fun and exciting.
Most of all, she warns against being childish and clingy and says that you should ensure that you give him space to breathe.
Take your first steps to bagging that perfect man.
